IC is really all you need for Sociology. As for time, no one can tell you because it depends on how much study time you put in, and how well you retain the information. Study the flashcards, and when you know the material I would suggest taking a Petersons practice test. If you use the "search" function you can find threads on how to log on to the Petersons site for free. Good luck, and try not to stress too much!
