Thanks for your kind words, Kate, but unfortunately I am not only NOT getting a raise, I will be officially unemployed in two weeks' time due to a company acquisition!

So getting this degree is coming at just the right time, as it will help as I begin a search for a new job (especially because it seems like every company these days REQUIRES a Bachelors degree for positions that really shouldn't require one). I once worked with an accountant who had a Bachelors degree in Geography!! Go figure! But hey - she had a degree!
