Hey everyone,
This month I followed the exam path recommended by ShotoJuku. I took Introductory Sociology, Introductory Psychology, Human Growth and Development, and yesterday I took Educational Psychology.
Now I want to provide a little feedback about the Educational Psychology exam.
As others have said, it is worded differently than the other related exams. I did NOT like the way they confused me with thier choices.
For example: Which is a more effective method for managing classroom productivity?
A. Explaining the rules and expectations prior to the semester or term.
B. Encouraging parent participation and encouragement at home with homework.
um... do you see what I mean? I totally understood the topic in question, but sometimes had problems making sense of their choices. ... it's a case of poor reliability and validity in a test about how to measure reliability and validity in testing. ...if that made any sense.
Anyway, I got a 66 on the exam, but here's the kicker... I studied for about 5 hours total. I ONLY used notes I prepared from Intro to Psych and Human Growth and Development and the new notes I prepared by googling the topics in the specific exam feedback section. Luv and Snazzlefrag, in particular, really gave some great feedback. So, I used their feedback instead of the flashcards for googling purposes -- no flashcards, books, or Petersons test.
I would encourage anyone to take the exams in the order that Shotojuko, and others, have recommended.
