I recently asked my EC Advisor to remove all grade of "C" or lower that were not absolutely necessary for me to get my degree.
They happily obliged.
I went from a 2.98 to a 3.34 overnight. They also left all of the higher "A" grades on the transcript even if they weren't needed, just to help me raise my GPA. I recommend that everyone do this before January 2008 because it appears that as of that date you won't be allowed to do so.
