G'day,

I have posted some details previously regarding the Strategic management course and that can be found here.

In addition to this information here is a quote from the professor for this course regarding the major assignment:

Quote:
consider the fact that this paper is worth 30% of your grade. In a three credit course you are expected to devote at least 45 contact hours to this class in terms of on-line learning (NYS Ed guidelines) and at least another 45 - 90 hours of study and research time. If we take the conservative measure of 90 hours in total (very conservative I might add), for a project worth 30% of your grade you should then devote at least 30% of the allotted time - 27 hours.

This is a capstone course and you will need to call on knowledge that you have picked up in other courses. In particular, knowledge of operations management, finance, marketing and economics is likely to be required in addition to what is covered in the text.

This course is not as easy as some that I have taken and shouldn't be approached with the idea that you will be able to complete it with minimum effort. I believe the times quoted in the professor's statement above are conservative and it is likely that you would need to put in these types of hours for this course as a minimum.

I hope this is of some assistance.

Regards
