libartsmgr,
Since we now know that A&I Lit is an option for you, I would DEFINITELY recommend you try this exam first. It is the ONLY exam I would risk taking cold (I did...and you KNOW I like to study before taking any exam).
Other than knowing your basic literary terms (simile, metaphor, etc.), and taking some mock exams, there is really not very much you CAN study to prepare for this exam. You can either do it, or you can't!
If you are good at reading and comprehending poetry and passages of prose (old and new), then this exam is the easiest six credit exam available to you.
You could literally take it tomorrow and stand a very good chance of passing it (it's pass/fail). If you were good at reading comprehension in school, and enjoy interpreting a challenging passage, you will do great!
Go for it!
