Cool Show Me Some Love!!!!!!!

Hello everybody.

Well....I finally took the plunge. I took my very first CLEP test Tuesday, April 1st, 2008 @ 2pm. I signed up for the Social Sciences & History Exam. After about a month of studying I still didn't feel like I was well prepared for this test. The closer I came to Tuesday, the more I felt that I should have canceled my appointment and maybe taken something else a little less intimidating.

I went through practice test after practice test. Tuesday morning....practice test after practice test. When I pulled into the testing center parking lot @ 1:45pm...quick review....quick prayer.

I sat down in the chair....filled in the online registration form and clicked "Begin Test"...."Here we go" I said to myself. I took the entire 90 minutes to finish the test because I wanted to make sure I answered every question and reviewed every question until my time was up. I didn't feel like I passed this test at all. Some of the questions were still alien to me.

After my time was up...I filled out the Clep Questionaire and proceeded to the cancel scores or report scores screen. I was nervous, I was afraid to click it because I believe I didn't do as well....I didn't feel confident enough. I clicked on the report scores button and guess what pops up under my score..........a 60!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Got A 60......

I smiled a smile that I haven't smiled in years. I walked out of that testing center with something that I didn't bring with me....6 credits. I am so proud of myself. I smiled all the way home.

I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for their insight and support. IC is the best thing since sliced bread!!! I appreciate all the help I have received and all the support you have all bestowed upon me. You guys (& gals) are the best. I love this forum. Good luck to everyone on their journey to a degree.

From a loyal degree seeker,

Marshall
