Wow.. that was a lot harder than I thought!!! The written portion was a breeze. If you have the Art to Public Speaking book / website you'll be fine two additional websites that were super helpful:Public speaking ACE practice test and Ablongs' Principles of public speaking web sites. The speaking part however was tough. I wrote notes and ideas down for ten minutes. When it came time to actually speak, I got off to a great start but went through it way to fast!!! By 2 minutes I was already into my conclusion and had to keep talking ( I don't really know what I said...there was even a 5 sec pause!) to reach 3 minutes! Does anyone know how tough they grade theses speeches??? Is there ANY way that I could still pass in anyones opinion?
