I haven't taken that one but I would definitely try CLEP's official study guide, it should it give you a very good picture on where you stand (and it wouldn't be a bad deal considering the 12 credits you're shooting for).

I would also guess that if you're comfortable in understanding spoken and written everyday German then you should be alright.
