I was surprised to get my scores back exactly two weeks after taking the paper-based test. Pretty impressive.

That said, I was surprised to see the new scoring system. I actually was thinking the exam was hard and wondered if I'd pass. As far as studying, all I used was Instantcert DSST MIS, Instantcert CLEP intro to computers, and the three Peterson's exams. I can't stress taking the Peterson's practice exams enough. They really helped bring everything I learned together as their answer explanations were very detailed.

When I talked to my school (Columbia College) the advisor didn't even know they had changed the scoring system, so I'm still waiting to see if a 461 is good enough. Surely it is... I HOPE.
