I am glad Iam married, I just asked because i was at a bar the other day with a buddy. He comes up with the stupidest crap ever thought of. But it works for him cause he looks like a brat pitt version. So kind of like your friend they could say what ever and probably crap themselves while doing it. And it still works out for them.
But not for nothing guys these lines suck ! 
A co-worker told me that she was on the bus, and this guy used his side kick.
He texted himself saying "hey i have been trying to get your attention for some time now, but you wont look up. You mind if i sit next to you " ! From there he just started talking
You got to admit thats pretty slick in my opinion.

Then again he kinda looks like a slightly taller johny depp. He also has a british accent. It works realy well for him. Though I do not think I would have as much luck.
