Sounds like you have an old catalog. That's the way it USED to be in the good old days. The Financial Accounting CLEP of today specifically excludes Managerial Accounting and is now recommended for three credits instead of six. Having said that, if your catalog is current--TESC does things like award upper level credit for lower level classes and otherwise has arguably the most flexible requirements so it's not beyond the realm of possibility that they award six for what others only award three--but I suspect not. Check it out.
