Thank you all for the congratulations! Yes, it is the second 78 that I received. Though Excelsior put an 80 on my status report for the statistics test, don't know why.
Bongsau, I studied a week for the exam. The local testing center only does testing on Tuesdays and so it works out that I was taking a test every week.
On the version of the test I had, there was some small overlap with the DSST Ethics.
What I have found that works for me, is I retain information when it is presented to me in a question and answer type method. Which means IC is perfect for helping me to study. I went through all the sections on IC in order. I then would go through each section as many times as necessary until I could answer at least 90% of the questions correctly and then move to the next. It would sometimes take about 3 or 4 times through the questions until I had this level of ability. The night before the exam, I would go through all of the sections of the IC material once.
To be honest, after I finished the exam, I went back through it and counted the number of questions where I was unsure. There were 5 to 7 questions where I was unsure because some of the answers were ambiguous. There were about 10 questions to which I did not know the answer. I used the best, educated guess method on those. So I believe that I beat the statistical odds on the guesses.
