Default Check into PEnn Foster English 100

I hear Penn Foster is a cheap alternative to exams for taking some gen ed classes like math or English at about 175.00 and that they transfer over to the tesc and ec.

Not to mention Information Literacy which is something like $75.

I do not see any $440 technology Services Fee in any of Excelsiors material. Am I missing something or Did hsing add this unnecessarily?

I did the same Math also with Excelsior verus Thomas Edison and cost for cost they do come out to be about the same. Also the 200 upper level credits are a real plus. I have sent my transcripts off for eval and hopefully I'll hear back soon. I am also going to use as many Fema credits for free electives as I need. I have quite a few credits it's to see were they all fall.

    Default Penn Foster Classes

I enrolled in PFC today , since I need a Eng100 class 215.00 + Shipping $40.00, STILL NOT A BAD DEAL, CHEAPER THAN LSU.

And it looks like you can go at your pace and finish it sooner or later, up to you really.

That might be a viable alternative to shelling out over 500.00 dollars a class Tesc or EC, if you are only needing to make up 1 or 2 classes that you cannot test out of. Just A Thought!

Default Just got my Penn Foster Materials

I just received my Penn Foster Course today in ENG 100 and I have already finished the 2 multiple choice quizzes, for lesson 1 & 2. I am still looking over the essay portion , which is made up of 4 essays, the last one counts for 30% of your grade.

If I understand correctly, it still Pass or Fail for both EC and TESC, no letter grade.
