    Default EC credit question

I noticed my local CC gives 8 credits for the Biology CLEP which mirrors their 3 class/1 lab offering. EC only gives 6 credits...So riddle me this Batman, if I get the scores put on my CC transcript will EC give me the 8 or will they back it down to 6 ?

I would imagine they'll award the 6 credits for it. Pure guesswork on my part of course, but it would stand to reason. The only time I've seen them mirror other institutions credit awards is in the case of some 3-4 month classes.

Considering they have their own recommended credit awards for CLEP, I expect they'd use them. Still, can't hurt to call an advisor and find out. You never know

The problem is that CLEP credit is subjective to the school granting the credit. Your credit is CLEP credit that you are trying to transfer in, not CC credit. I would venture a guess that EC may require you send an official CLEP transcript anyway.
