    Default A question about TESC!

Hi everyone, I have a question about CLEP. My question is. Does anyone know how much Thomas Edison State College charges to transfer in Clep credits. You know something along the lines of 5 dollars a credit. or 60 dollars for test. I was just wondering how much it costs. I plan to get my degree through them. Also does anybody know the going rate for EC and Charter Oak. Thank you everyone for your help. Adrian.

EC does not charge you a fee to transfer in CLEP or DSST credits.

TESC doesn't charge either, just have your results sent to them and they grant credit accordingly.

You have to pay $20 to both CLEP and Dantes to send your transcripts to the college of your choice.

The deal is you pay CLEP or Dantes $20 and they send your transcript to TESC. You enroll at TESC pay their various fees, but they do not charge you to apply CLEP/Dantes credits towards your degree.

I guess this is getting more complicated than it needs to be- but I also wanted to add that when you sit down to take the exam, you have the option (take it) of them automatically sending your scores somewhere. This is free. So, if you use that option, there are no costs at all- because TESC won't charge to transcript your credits. It's a win-win situation!

(The $20 is if you later want a CLEP transcript sent somewhere)
