Post Anyone going for their BA at TESC...Help!!!

    Hello everyone.

I was wondering if there was anyone on here that was going for their BA in Communications at TESC. But now I guess anyone going for their BA will do!

I am just curious as to what courses/exams that others took to graduate or will be taking to graduate with their BA's. I have made a sample degree plan for both the AA as well as the BA in Communications. I am curious as to what classes TESC considers "Upper Level" because I don't want to run the risk of taking unnecessary CLEPS/DSST's that I don't need.

I would appreciate if anyone could take a look at both my AA and BA Sample Degree plans and give me some feedback on them. Mind you I have put these plans together from scratch and on my own. I haven't spoken to a TESC advisor about these plans because I am not enrolled as of yet.

I have attached both plans as attachments below. I apologize for not copying and pasting both but I did not want to take away from the Word format.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    From a loyal degree seeker,

    Marshall

TESC considers anything at the 200 level or higher "upper level." So basically, CLEP Intro to Psychology, which is in the TESC catalog as PSY-101-CE, would be lower level. CLEP Intro to Educational Psychology is in there as PSY-230-CE, and IS upper level because of the 200 designation.

I just went down the list and picked out the 200 level or higher ones to put in my upper level slots, and used what was left over to count as my Gen Eds.

At TESC, anything 200 or higher is considered upper level.

    Default THANK YOU HawkGuy!

    You just made my day.

I talked to someone from U Of Phoenix the other day and they had believing I would have to take a lot of courses because most of what I have is lower level.

Now I know according to TESC most of what I have is Upper level. I would rather get a BA in Liberal Studies in less than a year of testing the 2-5 years of courses for a specific BS.

OK I am decided I will take off a minimum of 1 month then it is on to a BA

    Thank You again HawkGuy
