Is it only for Excelsior or will TESC award you credit for them also?

I've submitted my plan to my advisor, I am now waiting to hear from her before I schedule any exams.

By the way, where in Ontario are you? It might be worth the trip for a couple DSST exams. You can take two in one day if you prepare ahead of time. Even with a couple nights motel stay, it's probably cheaper and less stressful than the ECEs.

Dregeeasap, did you try Trios and Talpiot College both, they are both listed as general public on the new DSST web site? Rules are chaning (I am in the process of trying to get a school to sign up to DSST) and all test center must be open to the general public.

The best way I found to find out information about a test site was to call DSST (not email) and get the name of the DSST registrar person at each institution. This way you have the name of a person

Here are the DSST institution in Toronto

If you are from Canada, French exams might be an easy route to get Humanities credits. CLEP can net you 12 lower, OPI can net you 10 lower 2 upper.

(not sure how your French is thus just passing info around)

Further thought, it migh be worth doing the free beta exams UExcel - College Credit by Exam

Not sure on what you are missing, but those exams are available at any VUE testing center, and of courses there are plenty of those around Ontario.

    Default Uexcel Exams

This may be a stupid question, but I am not currently enrolled at Excelsior and the Community College that I am finishing up the Associates won't take the Uexcel exams for credit. Can I take one of the Uexcel exams without applying it to a specific college?

Not ACE evaluated. However it appears from UExcel - Transcripts & Credit that the transcripts will be coming from Excelsior which itself is Regionally Acredited.

I would suggest calling UExcel at their contact number and confirm this fact.
