    Default Poli-Sci

I am just home from taking the Poli-Sci exam.

For me this was not a walk in the park exam as I have never taken any poli-sci classes and I really am not sure if I will pass it, I guess time will tell. In hindsight I wish I had put in some study time prior to taking the exam.

But I am glad I took it as it gave me my first experience with this type of online testing.

I have to say between the picture Id you need to present at registration , the multiple index finger prints they take and the photographing of you prior to taking the exam, they do take student verification seriously.

yeah Pearson they dont mess with ID verification, but honestly if you study a lil bit, its not that hard, I studied like less than 5 hrs and I felt very comfortable during the Po sci test.

    Has anyone taken :

BETAPOLX170Y Political Science, if yes how did you find it in regards to difficultly ?

I took the other one but am considering signing up to take this one , just in case I did not pass the other one.

My son took the Calculus and Physics...he said in comparison to the CLEP Calculus that he got a 44 on, this one was easier (more generic) and the Physics took every ounce of brain matter to complete. He walked out optimistic.

    Default Uexcel Hurry Up !!

Just FYI Uexcel they still changed the date of the end of their Beta tests from Sep 28 to Nov 15,when I took those tests in July they told me Beta tests will end the end of August !! then they switched to the end of Sep and now mid Nov which is some how frustrating as we will get our scores some where around December or even later!! I sent an email to (testadmn@excelsior.edu also to info@uexceltest.com) saying that I m not happy about it, even though it's a free beta test and they need a certain number of test taken to be able to score, I think 5 month wait is too much for a computerized test and defeat the whole purpose of ''credit by examination'', my local CC has some online 3 credits courses which take less than 8 weeks !! who knows maybe in October they will push it back again to December and so on.. and we ll have to wait until next year to get our scores, anyway if you feel the same and you re not happy about this situation please send them emails too, hopefully they will get their stuff together faster and give us those credits while we can use them, not after graduation !!
