    Default Advertising TECEP

I just got back from taking the Advertising TECEP. This was a relatively easy exam with a lot of common sense questions. There is no thread in the feedback section for this test so I will just post a little bit here. There were quite a few questions on the different aspects of the advertising production. I had no questions dealing with or calculating ratings. There were quite a few questions comparing the different mediums of advertising and what classifications they fall under. There were also a couple questions on management issues that I recognized from Organizational Behavior.

All in all I think that I did really well on this exam for only two days of study. Taking a TECEP really made me appreciate online testing and caused a severe case of "Post Paper Ttest Trauma" (PPTT). Symptoms include anxiety due to no results for 3 weeks, sore fingers from coloring in the tiny bubbles, paper cuts from flipping to the answer sheet, and general frustration with archaic technology !!

    Have a good weekend everybody!!

    Way to go FARMERBOY!

I'm studying Advertising right now. I'm taking a little more time then two days. What books did you use? I have been studying the recommend Contemporary Advertising book.

What test are you preparing for now?

That's the book that used, along with the REA guide to Marketing. I read through the Advertising book once and then looked at the test breakdown and read through the most relavent sections again. A little review of the glossary and quick read through of the advertising section in the REA book was all the studying I did. However I have not gotten my test scores back so it might not have been enough!
