    Question excelsior or tesc

Which college can I finish at the fastest for a business, accounting, or finance degree?
If I major in accounting or finance, I want to take the actual major classes and clep out of every thing else. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

    My unbiased reply is EC!

With EC you have an allotted number of upper level credits you must have, whereas with TESC you only have to have 40 credits not taken at a community college, which can include Clep / Dantes. With EC you must take their Business Policy class in addition to the major classes you want to take, with TESC the one class you may have trouble finding elsewhere is their International Business / Business in Society requirement but it can be done. You can't go wrong with either, but I found that TESC fulfilled my needs better. Keep in mind though that I had 90+ RA in-class credit hours going into TESC.

I earned an Excelsior Bachelor of Science General Business in just over five months -- most of that time was the fifteen-week Business Strategy on-line course. Need your degree faster than that?

I must say, despite a few annoyances I really like TESC. The positives outweigh the negatives for me.

    Default Tesc ADV

Tesc has the added advantage of giving you upper level credit for 200 level classes which is pretty sweet.

Thanks guys for the replies. I have applied to TESC it just seems that they will never have my financial aid ready in time for me to start in August. I turned in the FAFSA in May and the lady that I spoke to said that it probably wouldn't be ready until September. I've never dealt with a college that takes that long to process financial aid. I think that I'm going to have to start bugging them about every other day.

It doesn't take that long, that's just what she tells you... verify that they have all the paperwork needed to complete your file and let them know you wish to start sooner.

You could begin taking CLEP and DSSTs until then.
