    Default EC clep credits

I am finally on the verge of applying to EC. My question is about transferring in clep and dsst test I have already taken. Will they except them off of my transcript from my current school or do I have to have them sent in from clep and dsst(whoever that would be)? If they will except it off of my current schools transcript, will they except an updated transcript later? Will it cost extra? Reason being, my transcript will not be up to date until the end of the current semester. They only update them once a semester. If I take a test before I actually enroll at EC, can I still have the grade sent to them? Otherwise, my current school will not be updating again until December and if I transfer, I hope to be finished or atleast close by then.
I know that is a lot of questions, it really is knd of one big one though.

    Thanks,

    Doug

If I were you I would speak with an Excelsior Advisor, or send them an email. I will tell you what they told me when I enrolled. If the CLEP credits are already on another school's transcript, then they will give you credit for them. To include DSSTs. If you decide to take CLEPs/DSSTs in the meantime, then just get the Excelsior college code for both type of tests so that your results can be sent to EC, or get a transcript request from Collegeboard so they can send all your CLEP/DSST results whenever you do enroll. Below is the link for the Transcript Request. Hope it works for you.
If you send in your current transcript and they evaluate it, and your transcript changes later at your current school, then send them the updated transcript and let them know of the additional classes. But, I'm pretty sure they'll figure it out. Again, this is what they told me. I recommend you speak with them after getting our advice.
