    Default New to Excelsior

Hi all I'm new to Excelsior and plan to take the Accounting CPA track degree. I have been searching for info all over and came across this very informative site. I was wondering if anyone here has done the Accounting track and could provide some tips or a road map. Also If I take CLEP tests and send it to excelsior do I need to pay a fee (at Excelsior) for the credits? Thanks!

Well, I cannot tell you anything about accounting. I personally think that whoever invented double entry bookkeeping was insane. But I can tell you for sure that you do not have to pay any extra fee to have your test scores from CLEPs or DSSTs sent to Excelsior. Not unless you request an additional transcript at a later date. I think the fee you are referring to only applies if you are enrolled in the credit banking thingy, not if you are an actual enrolled student at Excelsior.Hope that helps!

ALL of the accounting courses you need are available at LSU.

No fee at Excelsior beyond enrollment fees for accepting CLEP.

I recommend that you take ALL of the business CLEPs.
