New guy here, taking my first CLEPS tests next Monday (A. and I. Lit. and American Government).
I'm considering earning a BS in Business Administration (maybe Operations Management or HR Management) due to my 22 years experience in manufacturing, the last 10 years or so as a Team Leader/Production Supervisor). Currently laid off .Anyway, I'm a little confused reading Excelsiors PDF on the math requirement. It says Precalculus or higher, but lists College Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus in the accepted proficiency exams list. So would College Algebra take care of the math for the BSBA i'm interested in? I hate Calculus. Patrick Last edited by codface : 03-21-2009 at 10:44 PM. |

Great! Thanks for the help!!! Of course, I hate Algebra also, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I did take Trig. w/Precalculus back in my stone age high school days, and actually did pretty well.
I've got 6 CLEP and DSST's scheduled in the next 30 days. After that I guess I'll go ahead and schedule the College Algebra. Patrick Last edited by codface : 03-21-2009 at 10:43 PM. |

Yea, I do have to take the DSST Statistics also, and I've heard that is a tough subject to pass. Right now I'm just trying to rack up some credits in the easier stuff before I start hitting the core requirements because I might change my mind for a major.
