    thanks for the reply.
    I am gearing up again, having taken a break for Christmas. I just emailed instacert asking for some help decoding their math flashcards. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I am remembering, but I am still nervous. I really want to buckle down this spring and get some higher scores,even though it is pass/fail.

    Default Principles of Statistics
    2 weeks worth of studying. Forcing myself to go over InstantCert materials again and again. 13 hours of 'Against All Odd: Inside Statistics' and the entire Statistics Workbook for Dummies.

    All this culminated today into a 3 1/2 hour ordeal fighting off sleep, while craving a cigarette something fierce.

    I don't know what my actual score is. But the Navy College Office here will run your DSST through a scanner and it tells you if you scored above, below, or right at the ACE recommend score for credit. I scored substantially above.

    Instant Cert rocks.

    Default Macro And Micro
    Macro - 61
    Micro - 58

    I took both on the same day. I studied for Micro with InstantCert only for about 8 days. I studied for Macro using InstantCert and a textbook for about 25 days. I studied an average of at least one hour per day. I believe that knowing the info in InstantCert will suffice. The textbook helped me get a bigger picture and was mainly used for my benefit. If you are not sure about economics like I was I would recommend another source just to be safe. Micro is similar to Macro so I figured that I would spend most of my time with Macro and it seemed to work out.
