My Vesion had more than seven questions on Cognitive Development and Jean Pigeat, many on condition and unconditione Stimulus and reponse amd then a mixure of everything I was just so happy it had only one question where I had to Indentify which Theorist did what Next is Intro to Pyschology, I would have loved to write it early but due to travelling I can only do it on the 16th of April Mapalo |

I intended to take the Marketing CLEP exam only today, but at 11:00 p.m. last night, I decided to figure out my GPA. Turns out, by my calculation, I was one Pass/Fail away from a 3.55--which would get me an Associates with Honors. To do this, I would have to find a test that I could pass with little or no study to replace an old "C" from my Community College days in free electives. At this point I've pretty much exhausted my existing knowledge, but I had a "C" in Business Organization and Management so I decided to take the CLEP Management test which I believe will duplicate the "C"--but will replace it with a pass--which is what I need. If I were a little more withit last night, I probably would have noticed that the DSST Intro to Business would probably NOT have duplicated and I could of had a grade averaged in. Oh well. If that ends up being a better idea, I'll go take that test too. The good thing about the CLEP was that it had a 92 question practice exam--so I took that--got about 20 wrong--studied the correct answers and took the test today.
I felt pretty prepared for the Marketing exam using only IC and the CLEP practice test. I knew the answers to about 61 questions and did not know the answers to only two. The rest I could narrow down to the best couple of choices. I took all but the last ten minutes to complete the test and scored a 72. Wish these were still graded! In any event, you should definitely know what psychographics are. At least three questions included that concept. I had forgotten exactly what it was but fortunately one of the questions helped me remember. The other thing you'll need that you will not find in InstantCert is the formula to calculate markup on selling price when you only know cost. You can find that, and other helpful info, at Marketing Tutorials: KnowThis.com. CLEP Management had quite a bit of carryover from DSST Principles of Supervision. It also included questions re. a few significant players that I didn't come across in my brief study, but there was usually a good deal of elimination I could still accomplish based on the responses I did recognize. I knew about 50 answers and didn't know about 12. The rest I could narrow down. That got me a 69. You need to know about planning and control, PERT charts, etc. I'll probably lay off the testing for next month while I focus on my 5 credit Accounting course at my local CC. I also have the one credit Intro to Research to satisfy the Exclesior Info Lit requirement that I'll complete in April and a 4 credit college/work study program to coordinate. Just the logistics of those three things are more work than studying for the tests!

Today I passed Western Civ. I with a score of 71. I'm so excited! This was the most difficult of the tests I've taken so far just because of the sheer volume of information there is to remember. Everything from 3,000 B.C. to 1600 A.D.........eh, no big deal, right?
I spent a long time studying for this one and am so relieved to have it behind me. Friday I'm taking English Comp. with essay. Should be easier than Western Civ! "Studyhard" American Gov't--71 US History I--75 US History II--65 Analyzing and Interpreting Lit.--77 Western Civilization I--71 |
