Thumbs up I am so impressed!!

I am new to this site (this is my first post). I can't tell you all how impressed I am with EVERYONE'S accomplishments here! I have not taken any CLEP or DANTES exams yet (Here's To Your Heath is scheduled for May 14) because I have been putting it off out of fear, but you all make me feel MUCH better!!

I have a couple of Associate's degrees and knew that to really get anywhere I needed my B.S. I have transfered 64 hours to a school here in North Carolina (Mt. Olive) that offers an accelerated degree completion program in Early Childhood Education. With 64 hours transfered in, and the 40 hours of core classed I am required to take at Mt. Olive, I will still have 22 hours to get. These hours are not included in the cohort of core classes so they are expensive.....so CLEP and DANTES exams are the perfect alternative for me!!

I have researched lots of study guides (bought some) and textbooks (bought some) but after spending a couple of hours today with the IC flashcards, I think this will work out great!

Thanks so much for being here and being willing to share your experiences!

    Best of luck!

Not to state the obvious--but please make sure your school accepts CLEP and DSST exams before you get started--if you haven't already.

Thanks Michael...Mt. Olive does, up to 30 hours and certain exams. They actually encourage us to take as many as we can pass so that we can stay within the 70 weeks of the cohort completion.
