Thumbs up Aced 5 CLEPs in 8 days!!

I've taken 5 CLEPs in the past week:

    Mon - US History 1 - 76
    Tue - US History 2 - 74
    Wed - Information Systems - 64
    Mon - Western Civ 1 & 2 - 76 & 72

Instant Cert is a wonderful resource especially when backed up with REA study Guides. I only started studying a few days before my last exam. I read the REA review to give back ground and practice then used Instant Cert to reinforce.

CLEP saves time and money and it's nearly as hard as people make it out to be. Just don't slack and give each clep exam at least 2 to 3 days of your life. Turn off your phone, stay off messenger and focus.

    Good luck!!

    Glad today is over.

Finished 3 more DSST's today in just under 2 hours.
    Rated all in the mid-60's.
    They were:
    MIS
    Intro to comps
    Ethics in America

The Ethics in America test had me sweating as I didn't know if I was answering the yes/no questions correctly or not e.g. giving the answer the test was looking for. Apparently I was... phew!

IC was more than enough to pass all of these exams with minimal study (and with some industry experience)

Now I have to shift my focus back to statistics

I have been studying off an on for the last month Principles of Finance and have been struggling grasping all the concepts, ratios, etc. So after reading a post by ridin8ude yesterday about Organizational Behavior, I went thru the flash cards once for the exam and determined I knew alot of the concepts since taking the Management and Supervision exams last year. Also went thru the DSST exam study guide. Took the test today and got a 54.

Will start my MGT311 CSU Pueblo course now once my book arrives and will start my Visual Basic class at the community college in a few weeks. Not sure when I will find the time for the Finance exam.

    Chris,
    Well done...

I think I'm suffering from a mental block for both Principles of Finance and Statistics. They must not be as hard as what my mind is making them seem, and it's just one of those hurdles I'm struggling to get over.

I'd arranged my test dates (the last 2 days) to take those 2 exams. But whimped out cuz I didn't feel prepared, but made the best out of the situation by taking 6 other exams.

From what I have left to finish my degree, stats and finance, are all that I dread!!!

Well done with the org behavior, hang in there with finance and let us know when you take the exam!

My next exams will be around Sept 10th, and yeah, trying to target stats and finance again then...

    Default Passed Abnormal Psychology

Passed Abnormal Psychology with an A. Used IC, EC practice exams. The exam is pretty straight forward with no surprises.
