I made a 78 on Principals of Management. So close, but I will take the pass.

    Default DANTES/CLEP Scores

I studied for a week and a half for the following DANTES CLEP and passed all three. I took Drug and Alcohol Abuse and Fundamental of Counseling on the same day and Ethics in America the next day and passed all three.

I only used InstantCert as a study guide. My scores are as follows:

    Drug and Alcohol Abuse 59
    Fundamental of Counseling 54
    Ethics in America 61

I am only 5 classes away from my degree in Business Information Systems and plan on CLEPing 4 of them. Next up is Humanities and Analyzing and Interpreting Literature.

    Default Passed Macroeconomics!

I just passed Macroeconomics with a 67! My first ever CLEP and now I'm so excited and ready to start on the next one...Microeconomics.

I read a whole text book before I found InstaCert (took me two weeks just to get through it!) Although the book helped me grasp the concepts, the InstaCert drills really helped me get where I could recognize the right answers on the test. It took me about 6 weeks before I felt really ready to go take the test, partly because I've been out of school so long I'm just getting back in the swing of learning mode, and partly because I haven't had enough free time to concentrate on learning.

I probably want to do some reading in addition to the question drills again, but after the first experience, and reading others posts here, I have no desire to read an entire textbook if I don't have to.

    Any advice appreciated!

I think you'll do great on microeconomics. (Congratulations on your first CLEP!!) Anyway, I ended up scoring about the same on both economics tests -- and I took them both within a week or two of each other. Have fun!!

    Default A on Abnormal Psychology

I just got the grade today and I have to say that I am shocked. I walked out of the test certain I'd failed, as I had to guess on about 2/3 of the test!
I mainly used the IC questions, I also skimmed the study guide from Excelsior.
