It seems that most of the tests that people say are easy are a BEAR for me. As it turns out, I passed Dantes MIS with a 57, Intro to Computing with a 59, and Clep Computer Apps with a 57. I really struggled, although I thought I would score higher on the Clep than I did. Dantes questions were tough for me.
I used IC, Wikipedia, and the feedback section from this board. These were the lowest scores I have received. But an A is still an A. ![]() |

Passed DSST Business Law II with a 69 this morning.
It sure seemed difficult while I was taking it, and I was surprised my score was so high. The Barron's book is excellent. Too bad InstantCert doesn't have any flashcards for it yet. The practice exams linked at getcollegecredit.com were helpful too. I'm relieved to have this one out of the way. Now I'll take a short break while I prepare for some of the Psychology exams. I also intend to do Penn Foster Accounting I and II between now and early January. I have ten more exams, Penn Foster Managerial Accounting, and Excelsior College Business Strategy, and then I'm all done! |

Barbara, It's all VERY subjective....as you know! Not every exam can be easy to every person who takes it. It doesn't mean ANYTHING AT ALL that you found these three exams to be challenging. You can bet your life that someone else out there will struggle on exams that you find not to be so bad at all. The GOOD NEWS is that whatever you are doing to prepare for these exams, you must be doing something right. People fail those three exams all the time...but you managed to push through the struggle and come out on top. You should feel proud of yourself. Some exams are BOUND to seem harder to some people than to others. That's just the nature of the beast. A few of the exams I have taken have quite literally left me in tears, while others have almost seemed TOO easy. The bottom line is being able to study well enough to pass, and you OBVIOUSLY are managing to do just that. Well done! Keep it up, Snazzlefrag

Thank you. I have been studying nonstop and find myself so darn tired that I am lucky to make it to 9:00 pm before I crash. This quest has been exhausting, but I know it will be worth it in the end. I had mentioned that no exam has been easy for me, but now that I think about it, there have been a couple of exams that were easier for me than the others, but only 2 of the 12that I have taken so far. Thanks again! |

I took Biology CLEP today and passed with a 66!
I've been so happy about that all day, and then I found out something else that just made me even happier. I logged on to my school web site to see whether they had gotten around to posting my score yet for the Financial Accounting CLEP I took a couple weeks ago, and they did. But, they gave me 6 credits! They have credited me for BOTH Financial and Managerial Accounting! At first I thought it was a mistake, but then I pulled out the CLEP sheet from the college I am transferring to after this one (I'm enrolled in a transfer program), and sure enough, they DO award 6 credits for the Fin Acct CLEP! I'm soooo happy! 3 credits for FREE! YAY! ~Bee |

I finally took and passed my last class and have completed my degree. I used Instacert and Pass Your Class for study material. In addition, I read all the posts in this forum and used that information to do a little more research. Although my score was lower than I would have liked 53, I passed. This test was quite a bit more difficult than I had anticipated but with the avenues I used for studying enabled me to eliminate some of the choices listed for answers. I only wish I knew what questions I answered incorrectly so I could learn from that as well. I really do not have much to add for test content because the previous posts covered quite a bit of the material, enought to pass at least.
