I also have a CLEP Colllege Mathematics by Comex Systems Inc. I ordered a "used" copy from a dealer on Amazon.com for $4.00 with no shipping charge.. what I got was a new copy of the book.. no blemishes or nothing.

I am debating about ordering some review software I found:

    http://www.mathmedia.com/clepprep.html

But $89.00 sounds a bit pricey for stuff that is already in a $4 book. But then again.. its cheaper than a $1450 course too..(Local price at one of the schools in the area).

I have that program now. To me, no price is too great to pay in order to pass this last and final exam.

Default Passed Intro to Ed Psych

I passed this afternoon with a 60! I really shortened my study time with this test. One week as opposed to 2 weeks for HG&D. This was my first test using InstantCert exclusively and it was more than enough. Intro to Business Law to finish my B.A. and Dantes statistics to get into a Masters program. Thanks InstantCert!

Way to go on both passing your exam -AND- reducing your study time too!

    Excellent scores Sirjake!

It's a wonderful feeling when you open that brown envelope and can finally heave a sigh of relief after the long wait.

I am currently waiting for my Ethics in America score, as well as Human Resource Management. Hopefully my own 'sigh of relief' will be sounded before much longer.

    Congratulations once again,

    Default Woohoo

I just got home from PHCC and scored a 70 on the Intro to Sociology CLEP! I studied for about 4 hours total using only Instantcert. I went through the flashcards once, took a couple of pages of notes, studied the notes for about a half hour, randomized the flashcards and went through them again (got about 71% right). Then I did the CLEP practice test and scored a 72%. I think it is pretty cool that I got virtually the same score for the flashcards, the practice CLEP, and the real CLEP...just goes to show you that Instantcert is right on target with this one!

Oh yeah, when the proctor saw my score she said WOW and then told me they rarely see scores above a 50 there. I told her she'll be seeing a lot more decent scores out of me in the future...

    Congratulations rjc,

70 is a fantastic score! Looks like you judged the amount of study just right too.

This exam was one of the first exams I took, and I over-prepared for it. It ended up being a relatively straightforward exam and anything over a 50 is a pass.

This is a great exam for anyone to take if they are new to CLEPs and just want to 'test the waters' so to speak.

    Anyway, well done rjc!

Cool Intro to Modern Middle East DSST

Well, I got my score report today. I scored a 54. One more point and I would have had an A (as far as Excelsior is concerned). But, as it is, since I'm a TESC student currently, it doesn't really matter since it's pass/fail. So I passed! I was thinking I might have flunked this one, so 54 is certainly good enough!
