I took the ECE English Composition today. I won't know my score for a while -- up to 45 days. I'm pretty confident that I scored at least a C, but I really can't speculate beyond that. This was a tough one for me, but at least it's done (unless it comes back REALLY bad news). I'll do ECE Research Methods in Psychology on Saturday, and that will complete "junior year" for me. After that, it's four more ECEs, three DSSTs, one TECEP, a Penn Foster course, and the capstone Business Strategy. My plan is to have all my required work done by January 25, which will mean a full four-year degree in sixty days (I took my first CLEP on 11/27/07).

Got a B on the ECE Human Resources Management exam today. It's weird how on some exams I think I'm doing fine and end up with a B, and other exams I think I'm really in the weeds and pull out an A. Maybe it has to do with the curve, and smaller standard deviations on the "easier" exams. Anyway, I used the DSST guide for this one (even though it's an ECE exam), some of the IC flashcards (I admit I wasn't very thorough with them) and the practice tests for the Fisher text. My score report didn't show me as really weak in any one area, but I guess I was borderline in several areas.

Thanks for the congratulations and good wishes on my previous posts! 27 credits to go!

    Default hey!

Well I took my first exam. Intro to sociology! Passed with a 67... SO happy. I found it pretty difficult. I guessed on quite a few and had some narrowed down to two answers. I guess i chose the right ones. I'm kinda dreading all the other ones now.. But at least I got one class out of the way! Thanks.

Sociology on a roll --- I also took and passed Soc with a 67. It was my first CLEP ever and it covered a lot of ground. I studied using my Strayer Intro to Soc book and IC (of course). Good news is that I was able to drop the SOC100 class I was getting ready to take (classes start on Monday), so that is $1300 of hard-earned cash that I can apply to another course.

    Next up - Humanities 100.

Thanks all for the help and encouragement.
