Yeah, I only used Instacert for US History I as well. There were a lof of questions about african american history on the test. I am not sure if that is the same for everyone.

I take Sociology on the 26th. Gotta start studying.

You should have enough of a study window for this one as Sociology is one of the easier exams out there - GOOD LUCK!!

    Default Testing Done!!!!

    Hello all,

I just got the results of the last two DSST's I had to take. I got a 66 on Intro to Business and a 48 on Principals of Finance. This is a "skin of the teeth" pass as I needed a 46. Oh Well! It is a "C" at Excelsior so it will bring down my GPA slightly but.....at least its not another $1000.00 class and 3 more months! All I have to do is pass the three classes I am currently enrolled in and I will have my degree. This should be in August!
I am truly having a hard time with Algebra through BYU and have to pass 3 proctored exams to pass. At least I get one "take-over" try on each one if I fail. I need to think positively. The two classes I am taking through Excelsior are almost over....Thank Goodness. One of the professors is great (Business Strategy) and the other is a real DUD (Operations Management). He posted something incorrect last week, got everyone all stirred up looking for an exam that wasn't there...then acted like we were all stupid. When I called him on it....he was unpleasent (as usual) and then I magically got a 15 out of 30 on the last of my 6 assignments. I had been getting 21 to 26 but...either my work really declined or he was just getting back at me. I just keep thinking....I ONLY HAVE TO PASS! Just a word of advice...I would avoid this particular professor if I was going to take a class at Excelsior. I intend to complain...but considering the grade change with my last comment...I am waiting until he can't lower it anymore. Good luck to all and , PLEASE...Everyone send good thoughts so I can pass Algebra!

Great job on passing two more exams Lynda! I know from personal experience that the Principles of Finance exam is VERY tough, so I'm happy for you that at least you passed it and can put that one behind you!

Best of luck with Algebra - I'll pray you do well! And congratulations on being so close to getting your degree!

    Take care...

Congrats on your last two DSST exams!!

Also, you are not alone in the "algebra" frustration department, but like me I'm sure you will see it through (successfully) to the end. GOOD LUCK!!

    Default Celebration

    Hey Shoto....

We will (hopefully) be getting our degrees within the same month or so. Maybe, since we live so close, we should get together for a celebration dinner with our spouses/significant others. I don't know about you but I feel like I deserve a celebration!

You do realize that you don't actually need a degree to retire, right?
