My biggest advice: know who thought what.

Excellent Score & 3 New Credits!!!

Congrats - and YES - take the "A" as sometimes they are few and far between!

Do you think you would have passed without the text? Did you have any prior background in biology?

    ShotoJuku & Librevore,

Thanks, now its time to study for Rise & Fall. I found the massive thead about Rise & Fall in the other forum and am using that as a guide, plus I've get two books that I'm also using for studying. I plan on taking it around mid-September. Wish me luck!

I took biology in high school in China ten years ago. I didn't study anything scientific since then. I guess you could pass it with instantcert if you really understood those questions. I still think a textbook would be good as a reference for some concepts and explanations. I thought I would fail it while taking the test, but managed to hold my breath and it turned out ok. I slacked off at the begginning so time was tight at the end. Good luck to you.

    Well done jiajiatai,

From what I have heard, Biology is not an easy exam to pass. You did great.

    Welcome to the board,

    Hi Straydog,

You won't go far wrong if you follow the advice on that USSR thread. The various posters were right on the money when they gave their feedback on the exam.

There are plenty of online resources to help you study and, along with two texbooks and Instantcert, and three weeks to prepare, you will most likely do well on the exam.

    Happy studying,
    Snazzlefrag
