    Talking Social Sciences & History

I just passed the Social Sciences & History test with a 61. I think I spent a total of an hour studying for it. I took it right after completing Western Civ. I & II, then U.S. History I & II. By the time one finishes those 4, you could easily pass the Social Sciences the same day. Just my thoughts.

Currently deployed overseas with the Navy and we have a limited selection of CLEP and Dantes tests on board. I'm trying to get a little ahead before returning home so I can get an associate degree through TESC rapidly. It is pretty much an prerequisite for advancement in the Navy now. So far I have taken 5 of them using mainly IC and a few study guides we have here. Finally got results back for the first four.

    I scored:
    73 Introduction to Computing
    64 English Comp without Essay
73 Information Systems and Computer Applications
    75 College Mathematics

I took Analyzing and Interpreting Literature last night cold and am pretty worried about that one. Hopefully I'll squeak by but with the exception of studying terms and a few practice tests I didn't really prepare for it so I can't be too disappointed.

Next ones up are US History I and II, Intro to Psych, Intro to Sociology and Criminal Justice. If I have time before my return I'll move to some business and some general ones.
    Alan

    Thumbs up Clep Math 51

This was the most stressful test I have ever taken. The computer went completly off at question 41, because of a thunderstorm. I was praying that it would come back up and I would not have to start over. I kiss the computer screen, when I passed. Math was my last hurdle, I officially now will receive my degree BSHS.

If you are wiser for your experience, it was a success.
