    Default Post your Test Results!

I thought a great way to get this discussion board jump-started would be to post the list of tests (CLEP, Dantes, ECE, etc) that you've taken, and what your scores were.

Feel free to mention where you're at in your degree, what college you're working through, and whatever other details you feel like throwing in!

College Mathematics is about as easy as it's going to get with CLEP math testing... It's roughly 10th grade high school level math, and barely even gets into algebra. If you're looking to test out of math, there are no easier options.

I would recommend slowly going through our materials, and if there's any section that trips you up, try to find an easy book on it at your bookstore; i.e. a little high school workbook on probability if that's what your hung up on.

    Default Tests to date.....

    Okay, so far:

    Here's to your Health - 54
    Fundamentals of Counseling - 52
Drug and Alcohol Abuse - 50 49 was passing, so I can dig it!

I still have 10 hours of electives to cover, so I'm looking at the College Math Clep and the Social Science and History Clep. That'll be 12 hours worth, but better too much than too little.

    Smile Us History 2

I'm studying for US History 2 clep exam now, I just bought US History 2 cliff notes and I noticed that it follows the instantcertguide all the way, anyone else notice the same thing and has anyone recently passed US HIstory 2 with just the instantcertguide alone, and would like to offer any tips for US history 2 clep exam?
    Thanks

Thumbs up Us History 2 Test...tips

Concentrate On The Era Of 1890 To 1940..most Of The Questions Are Centered There. I Just Took The Test A Week Or So Ago And Was Very Surprised That Really Few If Any Questions Related To Anywhere Near Present Day Topics. Pay Alittle Attention To George Bush And What He Wanted His Administration To Be Remembered For....alot Of Questions Regarding The Depression, The Teddy Roosevelt Era, And Social Programs And Concerns Of The Early 100's Thru 1950. I Used Onlt The Instantcert Study Guide Flash Cards And Absolutely Nothing Else. I Would 100% Reccommend Paying Close Attention To The Script That Is Corresponding To The Answers On The Flash Card And If You Dothat You'll Be Fine. I Spent Nearly 32 Hours In Flash Card Prep And That Was All The Rearch And Prep I Did!!
    Good Luck,

    Default To Steve..the Webmaster

In Looking At The College Math It Does Not Appear As Easy As I'd Wish It Would Be. Just The First Set Of Flash Cards Is Enough To Send Me Runnin' For Cover. If I Knew The Math Clep Would Be Basic Math, Geometry And Such I'd Be More Optimistic About My Chances Of Passing. Steve, One Other Question, Iam Using Thomas Edison State College As My College Base For All Of My Clep Testing, But They Are Now Telling Me I Need Upper Level Courses To Complete My Degree... How Can I Find Out If There Are Clep Or Dantes Courses Classified As Upper Level? I Need About 20 Credits To Complete My Bachelor Degree And After Being Out Of School For 30 Years I Need All The Help I Can Get!!!
    Thanks,
    Rbowman

Do you mean pay attention to the explanations, and did the explanations from the flashcards cover everything on the exam?
    Thanks for the tips
