Hi everyone!
If you had a choice between these two U/L exams, which one would you pick/avoid as far as difficulty is concerned? I am trying to prep for a "less difficult" U/L exam and it's down to these two mind bogglers (uggh). Thank you much! -sky |

Brian,
I took CW&R last month and I have to admit that test was tough!! I was wanting to check if Gerontology was any easier (than Rise/Fall Soviet Union), since I have a strange feeling Rise/Fall Soviet Union is going to be a similar debacle to CW&R. -Thanks Brian, -sky |

GERONTOLGYStudy the IC cards for a week and you'll pass Gerontology no problem. It is very straightforward. However, if you like studying multiple resources, for weeks on end, just to hope you'll pass, then the USSR test is the one for you
! Good luck in whatever you decide to do. Lee

I will start prepping for the Gerontology test as per your recommendations. Judging the feedback and inputs, Gerontology seems a bit more interesting too. After taking that CW&R test, I'm not so confident I'll do any better on Soviet History since it is not "common material" compared to the Civil War which is part of U.S. History. I'll admit, that the CW&R test was a bear and what made it worse was the way it was written. I still cringe at the thought of sitting through it - welcome to the Upper-Level exams they say...But again, I truly appreciate everyone's advice on this matter!
Good Luck and More Power to everyone in their pursuit of knowledge (through IC of course!) -sky |
