AMAZING! Well done! You will be one of the great inspirational stories for everyone on this site. My family/friends thought I was a genious for completing 45 credits in one semester's time. Compared to you, however, I look like a total dunce!!!

    Good luck to you!

    Default Congratulations.. I am speechless!

Could you answer one more question before your well deserved rest?

What degree did you received from Excelsior?
I am trying to figure my path before enrolling.
Thanks and best wishes for the road ahead.

Katrin I am still shocked at how swiftly you tackled this exams. Your life must have consisted of studying, eating, and working. lol! But I am proud of you and good luck to you as well.

    Hi et4tango,

I got a BS with no Major (I tried to go for a Psychology, but I could have not made my timeline, because I failed one exam)
Hope this helps. You might want to take care of your GE requirements first, then do some exams with the topics you want to go for and then sign up with Excelsior. I had really good councelors there, who where helpful and told me how to get on the right track.

Good luck and if you need any help, you can just send me an e-mail.

    Hi Mapalo,

I used IC, wikipedia, the CLEP pre book (which is the only book I purchased) and the free prep material from Dantes and ECE which includes some questions.

My tip: good food, a lot of sleep before an exam!!!

In regards to studying, I found that if I picture what I read in IC, I can remember things easier. I made up a lot of little stories in my mind. Something else which I found extremly helpful is to remember the definision of words. In the test itself, I tried to take the words apart, look for their stem and oftentime, you have the answer.
(This may have worked for me, since I tried to study for it like I studied for English in general. English is my second language, and I went into exams, like someone is testing my vocabulary).

Hope this was at all helpful.

    Good luck for your exams,

    kckusek
