I took both, and got a "B" on #1, and an "A" on #2. I only used InstantCert to study, along with some cursory web searches. If you use IC and any other study guide, then TAKE A PRACTICE TEST to gauge your knowledge level, you'll do fine.

IC combined with REA US History I
You will surely pass. I actually passed this exam using only IC, but after looking over REA's study guide I found it to be a great supplement to use along with IC. Good Luck.

History I was one of the first test I took. I didn't pass amazingly well, but I baredly had any idea of what I was doing. While IC does have less info for it than History II. History I seemed MUCH less involved than History II. History II required a lot more effort and studying for me. But, for History I, I studied a high school history book, reviewed some practice tests, looked at the outline of what was on the test, and made sure I knew that stuff mostly. At that time I didn't have IC, so I think your chances of passing are all the more greater with it. : ) Oh and I definitely love the books "for idiots" and REA books are so helpful too (though I find them a bit hard to read and comprehend). Good luck! You can do it!

Thanks everyone! My main concern is scoring the 58 I need--even though all the tests I have passed have been in the 60-70's range. Taking Marketing wednesday.
Plan on taking HIST I next week in Little Rock (over 2 hour drive, but only testing center I could find offering tests during spring break). Your help is invaluable! Thank you. A productive study day to all!
