One thing you might consider if the CLEP folks do not let you retake sooner, you can always see if your school will accept the DSST natural science exam to satisfy your science requirement. Since the DSST test is run by a different company, you will not have to wait six months. I failed the DSST natural Science and am now studying for the Biology CLEP as not to have to wait out the six months to take the DSST again. Just a thougt for a work-around.

I'm not aware of a DSST Natural Science exam, but yes, you can take the CLEP natural science exam if you haven't taken it before...
