    Default College Math

I took college math today and got a 65. I only had about 90 seconds left when I finished. That was a toughie. Functions, functions and more functions.

    I hate functions.

It's always nice to get those math tests out of the way! Then again -- you must like SOME sort of numbers if you're majoring in accounting. CONGRATULATIONS!

Accounting is less about numbers and more about concepts, not any kind of advanced math.

know all you can about functions. know the formulas for permutations and compound probabilities. read all the questions twice. alot of the time that will get rid of 2 or 3 possible answers. Good Luck

I'm doing the Penn Foster Math and I don't recommend it. If I'd known how hard it was, the hardest class I've ever had, I would have done a bricks and mortar class. I'm just at the halfway point and it's taken two months. I haven't had any Math in over 30 years. If that's you, don't take this course.

Just thought you might like to know one person's Math experience.
