Got my unofficial eval from Excelsior. I need more credits. Some I know how to get...these are the ones Im not sure about...
-"managerial finance or financial management" (DSST Principles of finance?) -ethics - (DSST Ethics in america?) -business policy -production/operations management -information literacy (ive heard there may be a cheaper alternative to taking this through excelsior) -and also "at least 12 credits of advanced level business electives" Please help with recommendations on what tests I can take to knock these out. THANK YOU!!! |

Sounds like just business stuff left. Great job!
Finance = DSST Ethics = DSST or ECE (ECE will count toward your advanced credit DSST will not. I can't remember from your other posts but if you already have over 100 credits go for the ECE first and try and kill two birds with one stone. Keep in mind that being advanced it's more difficult than the DSST.) Business Policy = TECEP Production Operations Management = TECEP (There is an IC study guide for this test) Information Literacy = Far as I could tell taking the course was the easiest cheapest way. The alternates that I found were more expensive. This is becoming a common thing at a lot of Universities though. Perhaps something cheaper has come along... 12 Upper Level credits = ECE Ethics, DSST Business Law II, DSST Money and Banking, DSST Management Information Systems, ECE Organizational Behavior (This was not on your list and clearly what you have did not count to upper level credit. Check with your advisor to see if you could take this exam without it being considered dual credit.), ECE Labor Relations, ECE Human Resource Management. If you haven't enrolled you can take a few of these and then enroll or just enroll now. Get an advisor to go through your plan to make sure it all will count. Great job eliminating the rest of the requirements.

You can try satisfying your Info Lit requirement through a local community college. I had an Introduction to Research course approved which is 1.5 months on-line at the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, CA. It's a one credit course and if you live in CA, that'll cost you $20 + small fees and whatever the book costs.
