Default Newbie with a few questions

    Good morning,

I am new to the board and have a few questions. I am currently 9 upper level courses away from obtaining my Excelsior Liberal Arts degree. Below is a list of courses I am currently taking in order to fullfill my degree requirements. I would like to know if anyone has alternate suggestions on courses that might be more applicable / easier.

2 Courses from my local university (6 hours)

    DSST-Management Information Systems
DSST-Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union
    Excelsior Exam-World Population
    Excelsior Exam-Human Resource Management
    Excelsior Exam-Organizational Behavior
Excelsior Online Course-African American History (Using GI Bill)
Excelsior Online Course-Globalization (Using GI Bill)

I have also registered for the INL course at Excelsior. I have registered at Instacert for study purposes. Are there any other DSST tests that you migh recommend?

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the IC-Forums!!

May I presume that you have some flexibility here, as in testing out some of the requirements? If so, areas (history, social science, etc) do each of these courses fall into?

I have total flexibility for the most part. My main goal is to complete the 9 hours by this August so I may apply for

    Master of Professional Studies.

I have already spoken with the two admissions counselors from each school and both accept Excelsior Degrees as transfers so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

    Thanks for the reply Shotojuku!
