Humanities was probably one of the hardest to study for, because of the broad base of materials involved and my ignorance of music theory and poetry composition. My most irritating was Eng Comp w/ essay as my essay question through me for a loop. Alas, I am gunnin' for that exam again and hope to take it dead or alive.

Honestly, the hardest for me was the CLEP Spanish. I barely know anything about spanish, but i couldnt resist the chance to get 12 credits in one wack. I studied the basics of reading written spanish and learned extremely basic words for the listening section. I ended up almost completely acing it. But man, that was the longest and most complex test i had ever taken and i still dont know how to say anything x_x

Wow! I also am planning on taking the Spanish CLEP sometime this summer. I have been around some Spanish speaking people and took a class in elementry school, but I thought it would be a real long shot! Yet, 12 credits are hard to resist and I have a 6 credit foreign language to fulfill. I'm told Pig Latin isn't enough. Can you give those of us who plan to tackle this one some information on what study materials you used? How long did you study? Thanks!

    Yes, i sure can ^^

Well, one thing i did is i just got a little introductory speaking spanish book. From the sample quizes and whatnot, an english speaker can tell what a spanish sentence is usually talking about even if they dont know a lick of spanish. By recognizing words that sound the same, and learning common words like "what" and "compare" i was able to determine what it was asking.

And i do remember a couple things about picaso being on the test, but i honestly cant remember what the rest of the test entailed. OH! and one other thing is being able to figure out what signs (like street signs, warning signs, visitor info signs, and whatnot) mean. There are quite a few of those. ^^

Sorry if that doesnt help... x_x
It was a good while ago when i did that... v_v

The CLEP you didn't study for. Quit trying to make this process more difficult than it is. Sign up for IC, memorize the guide, take the test, and pass...it really is that easy. If I had listened to all the hype surrounding the pass rates of each test I have taken, I never would have finished. Study for the test and take it.... that's the best advice yet. What is easy to one person is a breeze to the next, you can't differentiate between the two.

I have no idea if you are referring to me, but IC doesnt have materials for the CLEP Spanish. Although, i think you might not be talking to me, cause none of that applies to what i was talking about. So if your are not referring to me, then sorry. ^^

No, not to you at all, just a general observation and my equivalent of a pep talk. When I first started the fabled "college journey" I too fell into the easiest/hardest trap. The simple fact is, everyone is different, what is easy for one will be hard for another. Sometimes, no matter how hard you study, you may still fail, my point being that one will never know until they try. Don't worry about the pass/fail percentages or who took what test and found it easy/hard. Simply study the prescribed IC guide/textbook and search the web for practice exams to further cement the knowledge, and then take the test. You'll know soon enough if it was hard or not when you see your score.

Hahahahahahah! Lee you are so right. There is a very good reason why I never play the 'share your hardest test ever' game. I'd die of embarrassment. My absolute worst score to date was on a test that almost everyone here posted could be done with almost no study and some shared that they hadn't studied at all. I tend to have a pretty good head on my shoulders and I studied REALLY hard but I still barely passed.

Study hard and have fun everyone. It really is going to vary from person to person.

    Ahhh... thats a good point.

Whats easy for some may be harder for others. Probably negates this thread ^^

But it is interesting, nonetheless ^_~
