Hello everyone! ^^
I usually have spent most of my time on history and psychology oriented exams in CLEPs, DSSTs, and ECEs (besides the basic requirements i nuked out in CLEP). Now, since i only have two tests remaining, the HRM is one of the ones i want to shoot at. I asked for advice on Psychology of Adulthood and Aging and received some EXTREMELY helpful advice. I am using IC's DSST flashcards for the ECE exam. So does anyone have any advice for this exam? I welcome even the most basic tips, as there may be something i have never heard before that could be very helpful. Therefore, anything is HIGHLY appreciated. Thank you in advance to anyone out there (and i apologize in advance if i have a delayed response).

Well, honestly I have not taken this exam. I have, however, reviewed the DSST guide to it. I looked at the practice test and stuff. I think with a solid back ground in psychology you will really enjoy it. It does have some laws to know, terminology of course. But, a large percentage of the test seems to me like stuff most people know just from having a job and being in the work environment. So, it probably won't be TOOO hard. Use IC and take the practice test. you'll do great.

Are you asking for advice on HRM or the Psychology one? I have no idea about the Psychology one, but HRM is a good test. I found it interesting and fairly simple. Yes, alot comes with common sense in the business realm. I haven't had much experience, but I found the concepts/ideas easy to pick up and apply. I did the IC flashcards and I had a textbook, but I'm not sure I used it. (textbooks are like a "use only if absolutely necessary" tool for me hahaha) I only took about a week on this test, which was enough to pass. I didn't do AMAZING on it, but I passed. And that's all that mattered for me. : )
Good luck!

mattie & abby>
Thank you very much! To tell you the truth, that is exactly what i was hoping to hear. I am planning on taking the HRM (Not the psychology one, abby ^^), on Tuesday. Alot of it does seem to be quite common sense. Nothing all that hard. It kind of reminds me of Management Information Systems. But thank you for the advice! Now i am sure im gonna nuke it ^^
