The DSST I've taken to date was a paper version. I'm taking two in the next week that are the Internet Based version.....I think the scoring is instantly reported, correct? If so, is it similar to the CLEP tests where a score report is generated and provided to the student?

Yes, it is exactly like the CLEP in terms of you getting an instant score at the end of the exam, as well as a print-out of the score report.
