    Default I took the plunge

I received my unofficial credit eval today from EC. Based on that, I decided to enroll now, rather than wait any longer. So, I'd be interested in hearing from people where I can start. Here's just a couple highlights from my unofficial eval:

    Business Component
    You need:
at least 7.00 more credits in business subjects to include:
    - Production/Operations Management
    - Business Policy
    - at least 6.00 credits of advanced level business electives

    I. General Education Component
You need 24.00 credits in general education to include:
    - at least 9.00 credits in arts & sciences
    - College Algebra, at the level of precalculus (or higher)
    - Statistics
    - 15.00 credits are allowed in free electives

Organizational Behavior Requirement You have not yet satisfied the organizational behavior requirement. Credit from your course or examination in organizational behavior will be applied to the social sciences (arts and sciences) or business electives, depending on title, number, level, and content.

    Information Literacy Requirement
There are several ways to satisfy the Information Literacy requirement. As the universe of information grows and technology continues to transform learning, information literacy (accessing academic information electronically, selecting credible resources, etc.) becomes increasingly important. You may demonstrate competency in this area by successfully completing the Excelsior College course "Information Literacy" (INL 102) or an approved course from the regionally accredited college of your choice. You must earn a minimum of one semester hour in Information Literacy with a grade of C or higher in order to complete the requirement. Please visit www.excelsior.edu and click on the Excelsior College courses link for information pertaining to INL 102.

I was in the middle of studying for the Money & Banking exam. My question is...for those that are EC students, or have been in the past...will I still need this exam, or is there an easier way to get the remaining 1 business credit I'll need?? Any feedback is welcome.

Well it appears as though you have your foundation built; now you need to plug in the exact classes that will fulfill the requirements. I would be dealing with a Excelsior student advisor when plugging in classes to these slots. They are the only ones who can tell you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the classes they'll accept. Once you have the coursework laid out, knock them out one at a time. Be sure to keep us all filled in on your progress and good luck! Now get to work!!!!

    Default advice

You are getting there!! You're in the home stretch, but some of the courses are going to be more expensive and harder to study for than the CLEPs and DSST tests - Namely Production/Operations Management and Business Policy

    Here's what I think...
Money and Banking DSST will count as 3 Upper Level Business.

That Org Behavior course should count as 3 Upper Level Business if it is 300-400 level. I haven't researched the options for Org Behavior but excelsior considered the O B class I took as upper level. That gives you more upper level Business classes than you need, right? Money and Banking is not mandatory, O B is. I think that you can avoid Money and Banking but your Organizational Behavior would have to be upper level.

The Production/Ops Management TECEP is very hard, so I've heard. The Operations and Quality Management MGMT311 independent study course at CSU-Pueblo is doable and costs $297. (took me a month to complete it with an A)

Business Policy -- I would recommend the TECEP test. I am studying for it now.

Stats and Math at Precalc level -- I havent researched those.

Free Electives and remaining applied science credits -- FEMA,FEMA, FEMA, etc.
