Thanks so much for the notes!!! I had 10 minutes at the library today, and decided to check the forum instead of doing an IC study. I've printed them out and will go over them tonight at home with my history outline book.

74! You did great! Congratulations! I'll check in when I get back online and let you all know how it goes!

    Becky

Thanks y'all, for your kind words and confidence!

BeckyCan, you will do very well, I am sure! I understand about squeezing time in at our local rural library.

Plow through the obstacles--fried computers and all! Take a breath, eat a couple eggs, drink some chocolate milk (must-haves for me before every test--Eggs and Chocolate Milk: The Breakfast of Test Takers! ), study really hard, pray even harder, and you'll be fine! Let us know how it goes!

    Default I Passed!

    Passed with a 66 -- my school requires a 50 for credit!
I was so nervous! And I NEVER get nervous when I have to take a test, but since this was my first CLEP, I wasn't sure what to expect and if I had prepared enough!

The test admin. was impressed with my score and asked how I studied. I told her about IC, and she wrote down the URL so she could tell other students.

ps For me it was Chinese lunch buffet, but no second helpings, that helped me the most. I had chocolate ice cream for dessert!

    A double congrats, BeckyCan!

What a great, solid score! Think about those 16 wasted points, though! My testing administrator says anything over "passing" is a waste of both time and points since these are pass/fail exams. I'd rather have some cushion.

It's OK to be nervous; just channel that nervous energy into the right areas when taking the test! IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU DID! The rush helps me keep my mind on track if I channel it right. If I try to relax too much, I can find myself wanting to doze after the first half of the test. The chocolate milk help sooth the nervous stomach, though!

I do declare that these tests ought to come with a warning label:

Tester Beware: Taking credits-by-exam and circumventing the traditional, often profit-minded college system may become addicting. Side effects from this forum of testing may be a loss of sleep, a burst of energy followed by a lag of mind, an excitement from saving money, and a general lack of desire to return to classroom instruction for basic and--worse--advanced college courses.

AGAIN, CONGRATS and the VERY BEST IN YOUR OTHER EXAMS!!!
