I just took the Peterson's practice test for HUmanities and I got 57 right out of 150 question! That may be a record low. I just don't see how I will remember all this information, it is so hard!!!

Try not to sweat it too much if you got a low score on Peterson's. Personally, I hardly looked at Peterson's because the first half of section 1 freaked me right out. I concentrated on knowing IC backwards and forwards. I didn't stop studying IC until I got 100% on each section--even if I misspelled a word. Maybe that is too anal for some, but it worked for me. I also made sure to study the official CLEP study guide. The result was that I flew through the exam and passed it, finishing in an hour.

This was my most difficult subject to date. I passed the CLEP Humanities with a 51, but really thought I had failed it. I studied IC, REA, and Peterson's and just made the grade. My issue was I came to the subject with very little knowledge or experience with the subject, and though I could answer all the practice exams with a 95% passing rate, when I took the exam I did not recognize half of the questions. As has been mentioned here before, this exam isn't that deep, but very broad. I would study as much material as you can stomach and double your usual study time.
