    Default TESC Credit Banking

I've searched the posts for an answer and I can't find what I'm looking for.

Does anybody know if you have to enroll at TESC to use their Credit Banking services??

Nope, you do not have to enroll. I just signed up for it two weeks ago. Had FEMA send my transcripts to them. Not a bad deal to receive 30+ credits for the $380 credit banking fee.

How long did you have to wait until you were able to actually use their credit bank? Was it a quick turnaround time from when you applied??

Well, TESC sent me a letter stating that it can take 1-2 weeks to transcribe the credits. I'm still within that period. FEMA sent out the transcripts to TESC immediately so TESC does have them.

Then TESC will send the credit bank transcript to Excelsior and I'm sure I'll have to wait the standard 6-8 weeks to have Excelsior credit them.

Oh, ok. At least they'll take 'em. That's great that it will work out that way.

    Default TESC Credit banking application

On the application in Section 2 it asks for courses that you completed that have been awarded ACE recommendation. Since FEMA courses have not been ACE approved, do you list them anyway ? Also it ask if you have requested your ACE Registry transcript ? If not the college cannot complete the processing of your Nondegree Ser Appl.....

I do not have any ACE courses, only the FEMA courses. How are you completing Section 2 ?

Why not register them with FCC?

    I have completed 32, so that would be 32 x $ 60.00= $1920.00 at FCC. I think I need about 18 to transfer to EC. 18 x $ 60.00 = $1080.00. That's why I would like to bank them at TESC for $ 380.00

I just listed "FEMA" in the section where it asks for "College-University". I guessed at the credit hours and put "30+". I left all the ACE stuff blank and also did NOT list each FEMA course one by one. That's what the transcript is for.

Total number of courses I put "30+". Total number of credits to be transcripted I put "30+".

They have probably received a ton of these and know how to handle the FEMA credits.
